Minecraft Lava Syndrome, often abbreviated as MLS, is a condition that happens when a minecrafter falls into still lava or flames whilst carrying a ****load of items, subsequently losing them. Symptoms include anger, hatred for minecraft and unwillingness to play the game. Can last from 15 mins to up to 2 days, depending on the circumstances at the time of falling into the lava pool.
Other symptoms include swearing to give up the game forever but playing it again in 2 minutes, and groaning every 10 seconds and whining on chat while mining all the diamonds you lost. Ways to prevent it are carrying your valuables in an ender chest instead of in an inventory, keeping your armor at home in the nether, or drinking a fire resistance potions.
What was the worst time you had MLS on zanilla craft?
About 2 days ago I was trying to fix the blaze grinder and hundreds of blazes got loose, the spawn room was completely crowded with blazes shoulder to shoulder. I tried to kill them (silly me) and the blazes killed me and all my stuff fell in their fires, AND I carrying a silk touch pick and enchanting diamond armor. Let's just say I was crying for 10 minutes after that and couldn't play the next day without groaning about it. Until usernametwo found my silk touch pick, he was nice enough to make a chest in my house and put all the valuable stuff in there, then I completely rejoiced (I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR WHAT YOU DID USERNAMETWO)

Luckily, I have never fallen in lava on Zanilla Craft. But one time on my main survival world, I was mining netherrack and quartz in the nether strip mine style. Then out of nowhere, a single source block of lava "appeared" and quickly spread into my strip mine (in the nether, lava behaves like water does in the overworld) leaving me unable to escape due to the slow movement caused by being in lava. Needless to say, I happened to be carrying full level 30 diamond armor, a level 30 diamond sword, TWO diamond picks (one was almost used up), and an unenchanted diamond shovel among the normal inventory load (arrows, extra blocks, etc.). Everything burned in the lava except one thing, the shovel.

Yeh but no fire protection and I was trapped in the lava so it was eating away at my health and I couldn't do anything.

The nether has single lava sources scattered throughout, kind of like a lava vein

About a week ago i was in the nether and some pigmen killed me. One of the Pigmen decided to take my entire diamond armour set and sword and then jump in lava with it.... Now lava doesn't affect pigmen but it was tricky to lure him out to kill him to get it back. In the end I lost my pants and boots with featherfalling 4 and like protection 3 on the pants.

I have only fallen in lava once luckily I had a bucket of water with me which saved me from getting killed! Now I always carry a bucket of water when mining! Try it, it works
